江南省造光绪元宝，它是光绪二十三年间开铸的一种钱币，被称为“老江南”。到光绪三十一年的时候，就已经陆续停止铸造，到宣统三年，也就是1911年的时候，全部停止。在光绪二十三年到三十一年，一共八年的时间里，江南造币厂铸造了很多银币，其中很多银币都被增加了干支纪年。即使是铸造数量最少的光绪三十一年，也有两百多万枚银币被生产出来，更何况是其他年间。而铸造最多的是光绪二十七年，据统计共铸造了五千多万枚。从这些数据上看，江南银币应该是非常多的一种钱币，不该如此稀缺。实际上，虽然江南银币铸造的非常多，但是却并未像我们想象的那样保留下太多，尤其是受历史原因的影响，光绪元宝保留下的真的非常少。因此，无论是出于个人爱好收藏还是进行藏品投资，都是非常值得的。

近期我公司征集了一枚1905年乙巳江南省造光绪元宝库平七钱二分，背英文SY，典藏重量26.7g，直径39.5mm 。图案打制清晰完整，龙鳞粒粒饱满，光泽温润，状态自然舒服。正面内圈刻有“光绪元宝”四个大字，上环“江南省造”四字，下环“库平七钱二分”六字，左右两侧分镌干支纪年“乙巳”二字，“乙”字上侧镌英文“SY”，字体端庄清秀，笔画圆润饱满；纹饰自然，雕刻精细。银币背面上端镌英文“江南省”，下端镌英文币重“库平七钱二分”，左右两侧分别镌一个长六花星。中央圈内镌新版蟠龙图，龙面与其他省光绪元宝迥异，龙头端庄大气，龙鳞精致细腻，龙爪刚劲有力。光绪年间铸造了一系列银币，但江南省造光绪元宝由于不便于流通使用，故铸额极其稀少，更显珍贵。

On the front of the inner circle engraved with "Guangxu Yuanbao" four big characters, the upper ring "Jiangnan Province made" four characters, the lower ring "Kuping seven cents and two cents" six characters, the left and right sides of the engraved dry period year The two characters of "yi si" are engraved on the upper side of the character "b" with the English character "SY", the font is dignified and clear, the strokes are rounded and full; the decoration is natural and the carving is fine. The back of the silver coin is engraved with "Jiangnan Province" in English at the upper end, and the weight of the coin is engraved with "Kuping 7.2 cents" in English at the lower end, with a long six-flower star engraved on the left and right sides respectively. The central circle engraved with a new version of the coiled dragon figure, dragon face and other provinces Guangxu Yuanbao very different, the dragon's head dignified atmosphere, the dragon scales delicate and delicate, the dragon's claws strong and powerful.
